Publishing
Publishing transitions a Digital Employee from development status to an externally available service. The publishing process includes selecting channels and configuring access control.
Overview
The publishing entry is located under the Publish menu item in the Digital Employee detail page. The process follows two steps.
Step 1: Publishing Channels
Feishu / WeCom (Connector)
After enabling the Feishu or WeCom channel, the Digital Employee can connect to the corresponding IM platform and receive/reply to messages on Feishu and WeCom.
This channel is implemented through Connectors. You need to create and configure the corresponding IM app on the Digital Employee's Connector page. For detailed configuration steps, see Connector — Multi-Platform IM Integration.
Gendial Client
When the Gendial Client toggle is enabled, the Digital Employee will be available in the Gendial platform client.
- List on Square: When checked, the Digital Employee appears in the Agent Square for other users to browse and use. A business scenario category must be selected.
- Force Client Refresh: When checked, users with the client already open will be forced to refresh when the Digital Employee is updated.
Step 2: Access Control
In the permission settings step, access permissions for the published Digital Employee can be configured:
- Public: All tenant users can use it
- Specified User Groups: Only members of selected user groups can use it
- Specified Users: Only selected individual users can use it
For detailed instructions on permission settings, see Agent Permission.
Taking Effect
After completing both steps and clicking publish, the Digital Employee becomes externally available. If the tenant has publishing approval enabled, an administrator must approve the request first.
After publishing, the Digital Employee can be further deployed to specific workstations in the workstation management page.
